About this policy#

This Cookie Policy explains how Cybergen Security Ltd ("Cybergen", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on cybergensecurity.com. It should be read with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally.

We follow the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). In short: cookies that are strictly necessary to run the site are always on, and everything else stays off until you choose to allow it.

What cookies are#

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device when you visit. Cookies let a site remember your choices and understand how it is being used. Some are deleted when you close your browser (session cookies); others stay for a set period (persistent cookies).

Cookies set by cybergensecurity.com are first-party cookies. Cookies set by another service that runs on our pages, such as HubSpot or Google, are third-party cookies. This policy also covers similar technologies, such as browser storage, that do the same job.

How we use cookies#

When you first visit, our cookie banner (provided by HubSpot) asks for your consent. Until you accept, only strictly necessary cookies are used and our analytics tools do not load. Google Analytics runs in Google Consent Mode, which means it is not loaded at all unless you allow analytics cookies.

  • Strictly necessary Always on: remember your cookie choices and protect the site and our forms from bots.
  • Analytics Off until you accept: show us which pages are useful and how visitors find us, so we can improve the site.
  • Advertising Off until you accept: we do not currently use advertising cookies on this site.

We do not sell information collected through cookies, and we do not use cookies to make automated decisions about you.

Strictly necessary cookies#

These cookies are needed for the site and its consent controls to work, so they cannot be switched off. They do not track you for analytics or advertising.

Managing your cookie settings#

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time. Use the button below to reopen our cookie banner and update your choices; the change takes effect straight away.

We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: if your browser sends it, we treat it as declining non-essential cookies.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers explain how in their help pages: Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge. If you block strictly necessary cookies, some parts of the site, such as our forms, may not work properly.
