Never trust. Always verify.
Your people, apps and data no longer sit behind one perimeter. Cybergen designs and delivers zero trust architecture that verifies every user, device and request, gives access only to what is needed and replaces legacy VPNs.
Illustrative access decision
The perimeter has disappeared
Traditional security assumed anything inside the network could be trusted. Today people work from anywhere, applications live in the cloud and attackers use stolen credentials to walk straight through the front door.
Zero trust removes implicit trust. Every request is verified using identity, device health and context, access is limited to specific applications and activity is continuously monitored.
Attackers log in, not break in
of breaches began with credential abuse, the most common initial access vector
of breaches involved a third party, doubling year on year
of UK businesses reported a cyber security breach or attack in the last year

Network access or application access?
A VPN puts users on the network. Zero trust connects them only to the applications they are allowed to use. Toggle to compare what an attacker with stolen credentials can reach.
Four principles behind every design
Aligned with NIST SP 800-207 and NCSC zero trust architecture guidance.
Authenticate and authorise every request using identity, device, location and risk.
Give access only to the specific applications and data needed, for as long as needed.
Segment access, encrypt traffic and limit blast radius as if an attacker is already inside.
Keep assessing sessions and adapt access when risk changes.
Secure access service edge, simplified
Rather than a stack of separate appliances, a single cloud edge applies the same policy to every user, site and application. We design and deliver it around your needs.

Every request, evaluated in context
Choose a user and device to see how a zero trust policy might respond.
Where are you on the journey?
Based on the stages in the CISA Zero Trust Maturity Model. Move the slider.
Static, perimeter-based controls and VPN access. Trust based on network location.
MFA and some identity-based policies. Early steps beyond the perimeter.
Context-aware access, device posture and segmentation across most apps.
Fully automated, continuously evaluated access across identities, devices, networks, apps and data.
Most organisations progress one capability at a time. That is exactly how we plan it.

Managed zero trust
Ongoing policy management, monitoring and tuning.
What is zero trust architecture?
A security approach that removes implicit trust. Every user, device and request is verified, access is limited to what is needed and activity is continuously monitored.
Do we have to replace everything at once?
No. Zero trust is a journey. Most organisations start with identity and a pilot group of users and applications, then expand in phases.
What is the difference between ZTNA, SSE and SASE?
ZTNA provides secure access to private applications. SSE combines ZTNA with web, cloud and data security delivered from the cloud. SASE adds networking such as SD-WAN to create a single service.
Will zero trust slow users down?
Done well, it often improves the experience, with direct, fast connections to applications instead of routing everything through a VPN.
Can you work with our existing tools?
Yes. We assess what you already have, such as identity providers and endpoint tools, and design zero trust around them where possible.
